Building and maintaining muscle is critical in the quest for fitness. Without strength training we will lose our lean muscle. Not fair, but true.

Be Active

It can be simple (a daily walk) or complicated (training for an Iron Man competition). Either way we must find a way to fit in cardiovascular activity. We are made to move.

Being mindful (to me) means conscious choices made with an awareness for the outcome. This "Be" plays out clearly in what I buy, cook and eat. Without Mindfulness we all can slip into auto-pilot choices.

Being present in our bodies without judgement is difficult. We can get lost in what was or what we want to happen. But this moment is the only moment we can change. What can you do today to bring health and wellness to fruition?

MEET YOUR TRAINER

Hello, My name is Lisa Miller. I have been a Personal Trainer for 20 amazing years.

This is me, I am not perfect, far from it. I work everyday to stay in balance. I am at an age where I see life as precious and fleeting. I don't want to be perfect, I want to be present. I don't want to be so focused on getting "there" that I forget the privilege of living another day in a healthy, moving body.

I want to live the rest of my life strong, active, mindful and enjoying every minute.
