About Your Trainer

I like to think that I have an advantage over other trainers due to one big difference. I started as a client.

It was 1995 and my oldest sister Pamela had recently passed away from ovarian cancer at age 43. I was obviously devastated. I slipped into a deep depression. I knew I needed help. I needed to shake me up and start over. I needed a new start.

I called a dear friend of mine. She had recently become a personal trainer. I asked her if she could help me get out of my slump. She said yes, we teamed up, and I was placed in her caring and capable hands as my body, mind and life changed forever.

Through strength and cardiovascular training, modifying my nutrition and giving in to the process (which sometimes meant strength-training through tears) everything changed. It was then that I wasn’t just working-out, I was starting over from the inside out.

Within a year I was certified with A.C.E American Council on Exercise and working at Lifetime Fitness. After almost three wonderful years at Lifetime I came to the conclusion it was time to take my show on the road. In 1998, I went independent and started training clients in-home. It was the perfect fit. I love my work. My clients are like family to me. Some have been training with me for over 20 years! The relationships are precious. The process is exciting. And the results, let’s just say I am front row and center to miracles regularly.

I want to hear your story. How did you get to this website? Where do you want to go from here? Call me. Let’s talk. I love to talk….
